Moving in

How do I rent a storage unit?

Send an enquiry with your preferred move-in date and what you need to store. Peter will check availability, confirm the price and send your agreement and move-in details.

What do I need before moving in?

You will need to complete your storage agreement, provide identification and arrange your first payment before access is provided. Peter will confirm your move-in date and organise your access fob or swipe card.

Can I arrange storage at short notice?

Contact Peter with the date you need. Move-in depends on a suitable unit being available and your agreement, payment and access arrangements being completed.

Is there a bond or an admin fee?

Our advertised storage options have no bond or admin fees. Peter will confirm your rental price and any optional extras before you book.

Can I store a vehicle or book outdoor parking?

Suitable vehicles can be stored in our larger units, depending on their dimensions. We also have outdoor parking spaces. Send Peter the vehicle or trailer measurements so he can check fit and availability.

Using your unit

Can I drive right up to my unit?

Yes. All our storage units are drive-up, with wide driveways so you can load and unload beside your unit door.

Do the units have lighting and power?

The units have lighting, and optional power is available. Ask Peter to confirm a suitable unit, the current additional charge and whether the power arrangement suits your needs.

What should I do if my access fob does not work?

Check that you are visiting during the 5am–10pm customer access hours. If you still need help, call 0800 745 377. Contact Peter promptly if your fob or card is lost.

Can I change to a different unit size?

Contact Peter with the size you need and when you would like to move. A change depends on availability. He can check the options and confirm the new price and arrangements with you.

How should I prepare my belongings for storage?

Bring belongings in clean and dry. Use sturdy labelled boxes, protect furniture and keep items you may need near the front. Leave enough room to move safely inside your unit.

Moving out

How much notice do I need to give?

Please give at least two weeks’ notice before moving out and allow for your minimum rental term. Contact Peter with your planned date so he can confirm your final rental period.

What do I need to do when I move out?

Remove your belongings and any rubbish, then sweep the unit and leave it clean and tidy. Let Peter know when you have finished and arrange the return of your access fob or card and any supplied keys.

What if my move-out date changes?

Let Peter know as soon as possible if you need extra days or your plans change. He can check availability and confirm any change to your rental period and payment.

What happens if I have paid beyond my move-out date?

Contact Peter so he can check your paid-to date, notice period and storage agreement. He will confirm whether any credit or refund applies to your account.
